Former CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Kofi Koduah (KK) Sarpong, who is the chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee says he is not and will never be interested in the Ghana Football Association Presidency
In an interview on Accra based Asempa FM, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) said he has know interest in leading the Ghana Football Association though he is ready to offer advice to whoever will emerge as the President of the Association.
When asked, Mr. Sarpong said “ I can tell you emphatically that I’m not interested and I will never be interested….I can help by giving advice if you call me privately but to come and run it, forget it”
Mr, Sarpong who said he has never been interested in leading the FA was however willing to offer advice and assist whoever will emerge as the President of the Football Association if he called upon
When asked about the performance of the Black Stars in the just ended AFCON, the Black Stars management committee chairman said ” we were not disgraced, we just couldn’t meet our expectations, even the payers have said we had the best preparations ever”
It is however not clear whether the former C.E.O of the Porcupine Warriors will still remain in charge as the Black Stars Management Committee Chairman in the interim as the Normalization Committee prepares to organize the elections for the new administration to take over
