Yesterday at the SUN CITY Apartments in La Accra, Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak unveiled their First Team Coach and Director of Football in the person of Kim Grant, a former Ghanaian International to the media in a short ceremony.

Present at the unveiling were the CEO of Hearts of Oak Mr. Mark Noonan, the Team Manager of Hearts Saban Quaye and the Communication Director of the team Kwame Larbi Opare Addo.

Mark Noonan outlined why Kim Grant was the perfect person to be in that position for the club and assured the Phobian family that, they will help the coach to succeed at the club.

Kim Grant was unveiled to the media and a section of the Hearts supporters were there to grace the occasion especially the Chapter O family.

Kim was happy with the appointment to coach one of the greatest clubs in Ghana and beyond and he becomes the Phobians’ third coach this year after Frank Nuttal and Henry Wellington but sixth manager in four years. The 46-year-old will also work as Director of Football for the club.

“I am humbled at the opportunity to lead this great football Club,” Kim Grant said. “My sincere thanks go out to the Club’s esteemed leaders for having the faith and confidence in me to return the Club to its position at the pinnacle of African football.”

He added: “I understand the expectations at a Club like Hearts and am ready to get to work. Under my leadership, we will bring back the ‘Never Say Die’ spirit.” His job starts from 1st December 2018.
