Maritzburg United goalkeeper Richard Ofori has warned second-tier side Witbank Spurs not to write them off in the Nedbank Cup last 32 clash.
The Team of Choice are winless in three months and face relegation from the Premier Soccer League.
The KZN Midlands outfit last won a match in October when they beat Highlands Park in the first round of the Telkom Knockout.
Ofori has vowed to stop rot this weekend.
”It’s been long time without us having that winning feeling. This team (Spurs) is in trouble. They are not meeting us at the right time. We are not in a good mood,” Ofori said.
”We’ve really miss that winning feeling so we need to really work hard to get it again. This is a very important game for us. It will wake us up. That winning feeling will inspire us. I always say that if you can get that winning feeling you can be able to do a lot of things. Winning gives you confidence.
”This is a great opportunity for us. A win against Witbank Spurs will inject spark into our team. We hope to take that feeling into the league.”
